Rules & Regulations - 7's Football

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.

The tournament is open to all Registered Members of EXSAS.

2.

The tournament will be held on 1st October 2022 (Saturday) at Motta Bangi Mini Football Club, starting from 3.00pm to 7.00pm.

3. 

The registration is limited to 15 participants for each House (Apollo, Soyuz, Cosmos, Skylab) for Open Category. For Master Category (40 years & above), only 7 participants needed for each House. Each participants will get a team jersey.

4.

House Captain is responsible for the registration, eligibility, conduct and attendance of his/her team.

5.

House Captain will be appointed by their respective team members.

6.

Entrance Fee for each House is RM 675.00 (Open Category) & RM 315.00 (Master Category). All completed entry forms together with entrance fee or other supporting documents must reach us by 14 September, 2022. 

7.

The organizer or any parties involved in the tournament shall not be responsible for any expenses incurred by teams, participants or individuals, and for any injuries or deaths occurred during or after the tournament. The organizers however, will provide basic safety & medical assistance during the tournament.

8.

The organizer has the full right to change the duration, schedule, venue, etc. without prior notice to participating teams.

9.

Prizes for the winners will be given as below (subject to change depends on team participations):

A.  Open Category

  • Champion (Cup + 15 Medal)
  • 1st Runner-up (15 Medal)

B.  Master Category

  • Champion (Cup + 7 Medal)
  • 1st Runner-up (7 Medal)
 

RULES & REGULATIONS

1.

The games will be played in accordance with the latest laws of the game published by FIFA. However, certain adjustments have been made by the organizer and will be made known during the Team Manager’s Meeting.

2.

For Open Category, a team can be registered with a maximum of 15 players. During any match, only 7 players are allowed on the pitch. The duration of each match will be 25 minutes per game with 12 minutes each half and 1 minute interval.

3.

For Master Category, a team can be registered with 7 players. Master Category will play ‘true shootout’ which will see players given 5 seconds to beat the opposition goalkeeper from a starting point. Players can attempt to dribble around the goalkeeper, shoot from distance or closer to goal. Similarly, goalkeepers can either stay on the lines or rush out of their areas. If the goalkeeper fouled their opponent, a traditional penalty from 12 yards will then be awarded.

Team jerseys will be provided by organizer.

Points are as follows:
•    Win – 3 Points
•    Draw – 1 Point
•    Lose – 0 Point

In the event of 2 teams with similar points, the Goal Difference will be the tie-breaker to decide position in the Group. If the Goal Difference is still the same, the penalty kick sudden death will apply.

6.

Teams which fail to show up for their match (2 minutes after the start time) will be disqualified and the opposing team will be awarded a walkthrough and declared winners with 2 - 0 score line.

7.

Two (2) yellow cards in separate match will automatically ban the next one (1) match. One (1) red card in a match will automatically ban the next two (2) matches. Players, who receive two (2) yellow cards followed by a red card in a single match, will be automatically banned for two (2) matches. All yellow and red cards will be carried forward to the knock-out stage match.

8.

In the event of any dispute, matters not provided for will be referred to the Organizing Committee whose decision will be final. RM 500 refundable deposit is required for any disputes to be made to the Organizing Committee.
