Rules & Regulations - Futsal 2019

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The tournament is open to all Registered Members of EXSAS.

  2. The tournament will be held on 27 October 2019 (Sunday) at KSL Futsal Sport Centre Setapak.

  3. The registration is limited to 10 Teams for Open Category & 5 Teams for Master Category (35 years above).

  4. Open Category will be split into two group, four teams for each group will be playing in 1st round. Two teams with the most point will be playing Cup Semi-Final (Knockout Round) and the two bottom teams will be playing Semi-Final Plate (Knockout Round).

  5. Master Category will only play in one group and top two teams will play for the Final Master.

  6. Entrance Fee for a Team is RM 250.00. All completed entry forms together with entrance fee or other supporting documents must reach us by 27 September, 2019. 

  7. The organizer or any parties involved in the tournament shall not be responsible for any expenses incurred by teams, participants or individuals, and for any injuries or deaths occurred during or after the tournament. The organizers however, will provide basic safety & medical assistance during the tournament.

  8. The organizer has the full right to change the duration, schedule, venue, etc. without prior notice to participating teams.
     
  9. Prizes for the winners will be given as below (subject to change depends on team participations):

    a.    CUP’s Category
    i.    Winners – Cup & Medals
    ii.    Runners Up – Medals

    b.    PLATE’s Category
    i.    Winners – Medals
    ii.    Runners Up – Medal

    c.    MASTER’s Category
    i.    Winners – Cup & Medals
    ii.    Runners Up – Medal

 

RULES & REGULATIONS

  1. The games will be played in accordance with the latest laws of the game published by FIFA. However, certain adjustments have been made by the organizer and will be made known during the Team Manager’s Meeting.

  2. A team can be registered with a maximum of 10 players, consists of 12 players. During any match, only 5 players are allowed on the pitch.

  3. The duration of each match will be 11 minutes per game with 5 minutes each half and 1 minute interval.

  4. Team jerseys will be provided by organizer.

  5. Points are as follows:
    •    Win – 3 Points
    •    Draw – 1 Point
    •    Lose – 0 Point

    In the event of 2 teams with similar points, the Goal Difference will be the tie-breaker to decide position in the Group. If the Goal Difference is still the same, the penalty kick sudden death will apply.

  6. In the knock out stage, if the score is still tied after the end of regulation time, then extra time of 6 minutes (3 minute each half) will be added. If score is still tied after the extra time, penalties will be played, where 3 penalty kicks for each team will be awarded. If the score is still tied after the penalties, the penalty kick sudden death will again be applied.

  7. Teams which fail to show up for their match (2 minutes after the start time) will be disqualified and the opposing team will be awarded a walkthrough and declared winners with 2 - 0 score line.

  8. Two (2) yellow cards in separate match will automatically ban the next one (1) match. One (1) red card in a match will automatically ban the next two (2) matches. Players, who receive two (2) yellow cards followed by a red card in a single match, will be automatically banned for two (2) matches. All yellow and red cards will be carried forward to the knock-out stage match.
     
  9. In the event of any dispute, matters not provided for will be referred to the Organizing Committee whose decision will be final. RM 500 refundable deposit is required for any disputes to be made to the Organizing Committee.
